The Glow Facial is designed around one goal: creating skin that looks naturally illuminated—not greasy, shiny, or artificially highlighted, but healthy enough to reflect light beautifully on its own.
What is “glowy skin”? From a skincare perspective, glow is created when the surface of the skin is smooth, adequately hydrated, evenly toned, and free from excessive buildup that scatters light. When dead surface cells, dehydration, uneven pigmentation, or rough texture interfere with that surface, the complexion can appear dull even when the skin is oily. The Glow Facial addresses these factors to reveal a clearer, more luminous-looking complexion.
The treatment begins with gentle resurfacing to loosen accumulated surface cells and refine texture. Depending on the skin, professional exfoliating ingredients such as glycolic acid, lactic acid, PHAs, or gentle enzyme exfoliants may be selected to improve smoothness without unnecessarily stripping the skin.
Next, antioxidant and tone-supporting cosmeceuticals are incorporated. Vitamin C helps defend against oxidative stress while supporting brighter, more even-looking skin. Niacinamide can help improve the appearance of uneven pigmentation, redness, sallowness, texture, and barrier function. Additional ingredients such as licorice-root derivatives, tranexamic-acid formulations, alpha arbutin, peptides, and antioxidant complexes may be selected according to the client's skin needs.
Hydration is equally important to radiance. Hyaluronic acid, glycerin, panthenol, beta-glucan, amino acids, and ectoin help replenish water and support a smoother skin surface. Properly hydrated skin appears naturally fuller and reflects light more evenly, creating the fresh, glass-like luminosity associated with healthy skin.
For an advanced Glow treatment, red LED photobiomodulation may be incorporated to complement the facial. Clinical studies of red-light photobiomodulation support its use for facial rejuvenation and improvement in visible signs of photoaging when performed as a course of treatment. It provides a noninvasive finishing step without relying on aggressive exfoliation to create radiance.
