The Helper Facial is designed for clients who want smoother skin and a cleaner-looking complexion by addressing unwanted facial hair in a customized, skin-conscious way.

Not all facial hair is the same, so The Helper does not rely on one removal method for every client. Coarser or more noticeable hairs may be removed with facial waxing, while fine, soft vellus hair—often called “peach fuzz”—can be gently removed with a facial razor or dermaplaning-style technique. Removing this surface hair can help the skin feel smoother, allow makeup to apply more evenly, and give the complexion a more polished appearance.

The treatment is customized by area, hair type, and skin sensitivity. The goal is to remove unwanted hair while minimizing unnecessary irritation and protecting the skin barrier.

After hair removal, calming and hydrating products are applied to help soothe the skin and reduce the feeling of sensitivity. Ingredients such as panthenol, aloe, centella asiatica, beta-glucan, hyaluronic acid, ceramides, and soothing antioxidants may be used to help restore comfort and hydration.

For clients concerned about repeated regrowth of darker facial hair, professional light-based hair-reduction technology such as IPL or laser may also be considered or recommended when appropriate. These treatments work by targeting pigment within the hair follicle and can help reduce future hair growth over a series of sessions. They are not appropriate for every hair color, skin tone, or client, so suitability should always be evaluated before treatment.
