Bright Facial by Depique Beauty
The Bright Facial is Depique Beauty’s targeted treatment for uneven pigmentation, dullness, sun-induced discoloration, post-blemish marks, and skin affected by the visible appearance of melasma.
Brightening skin is not about bleaching the complexion. It is about helping regulate the processes that cause excess pigment so the skin can return to a clearer, more even-looking version of its natural tone.
Melanin is produced by specialized skin cells called melanocytes. Inside these cells, an enzyme called tyrosinase plays an important role in the production of pigment. Sun exposure, visible light, hormones, inflammation, and skin irritation can stimulate this pathway, causing certain areas to produce more pigment than surrounding skin. With melasma, this pigment activity can become persistent and easily reactivated.
The Bright Facial uses a multi-pathway approach rather than relying on one aggressive lightening ingredient.
Tranexamic acid is incorporated into pigment-focused skincare because it can help interrupt signals associated with excess melanin production and is especially interesting for stubborn uneven pigmentation.
Vitamin C provides antioxidant protection while helping brighten the appearance of existing discoloration and defend the skin from oxidative stress associated with environmental exposure.
Azelaic acid can help improve uneven pigmentation while also supporting skin prone to inflammation, making it especially useful when discoloration and sensitivity occur together.
Alpha arbutin and kojic acid help target the tyrosinase pathway involved in melanin formation, while niacinamide helps reduce the visible transfer of pigment into surrounding skin cells and supports a healthier skin barrier.
Licorice-derived brightening ingredients may provide additional antioxidant and pigment-balancing support while helping maintain a more comfortable treatment for sensitive complexions.
The Bright Facial may also incorporate glutathione, a naturally occurring antioxidant that has attracted clinical interest for its influence on pigmentation. Glutathione may help interfere with tyrosinase activity while influencing the type of melanin produced. Topical glutathione has shown promising brightening and antioxidant effects, making it a sophisticated supporting ingredient within a comprehensive pigment-care program.
Because aggressive treatments can sometimes create inflammation—and inflammation itself can produce additional pigmentation—the Bright Facial emphasizes controlled correction rather than excessive exfoliation. Hydrating and barrier-supporting ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, panthenol, ceramides, beta-glucan, and soothing antioxidants help keep the skin comfortable while pigment-focused ingredients perform their work.
For clients concerned about melasma, the treatment does not end when the facial is finished. Daily photoprotection is essential. Broad-spectrum sunscreen helps protect against ultraviolet radiation, while tinted sunscreen containing iron oxides can provide additional protection from visible light that may contribute to recurrent pigmentation.
Perfect for: melasma-prone complexions, uneven pigmentation, sun spots, post-inflammatory discoloration, dullness, uneven tone, and clients seeking a brighter complexion without changing their natural skin color.
The result: clearer, more balanced-looking skin with improved luminosity, reduced appearance of discoloration, and a brighter, more uniform complexion.
Depique Bright: target the pigment, protect the barrier, reveal the clarity.
